Pictures!

I was hoping they'd unboard the windows, not just put white stuff over them and then 93.1 plastic signs. SOMEONE HIRE A DESIGNER *snaps fingers*

Look at all the cars in the parking lot. This makes me sad, seriously. I remember the parking lot looking like this when it was actually a Toys R Us. I got my Precious Places mansion from here!

Happy customers leaving. Without... stuff.

This one can, should and will speak for itself.

All joking aside, the whole thing makes me a bit emo and I look ridiculous with a messenger bag.

Yes, that Dillard's department store just across the parking lot from the "Cool Super Sale" is actually the DILLARD'S CLEARANCE CENTER and has been one of Euclid's best kept secrets for HUGE bargains on name brand stuff.

I was just in there today (I go over there regularly) and the place is literally bursting at the seams with cheap clothes, shoes, and domestics. Its true that the stuff in there is genuine name-brand and all of it is 75% off of the original price.

Example: 100 dollar Ralph Lauren Polo shirts - 25 bucks.

I sound like a commercial, but really.

(and if you go to the west register you can get a nice full glass view of the inside of the mall)

Chox commented at 1:09 PM~: The WZAK posters are a nice touch...and the fact that their logo has remained unchanged since, oh, 1984 is a testament to...well, something. I'm glad they made it all pretty. It makes me want to shop there and traverse that rocky parking lot.

I wanted him to go so he could snap a few pictures inside, but he couldn't.

Upon hearing that they charged admission, I'm glad. Would have been a waste of his time and money to run there from Lakewood.

A Toys "R" Us used for afteruse -- and they didn't repain the rainbow motif?! Wow! Jen, I'll be in Ohio next month and am debating coming a hours or so upward to Euclid to see the mall but especially the Toys "R" Us.

While I'd love to see the site, I really don't want any nonsense from the zombie security patrollers who watch this place as if it's richly valued oil land.

I remember that Toys R Us! That's where I almost got mugged in the parking lot while shopping with my baby for diapers.

Memories, misty water colored memories...

How about a tour down Euclid Ave.? The old hotel parking lot by Rt 2, the fomer K-mart lot, the razed projects, the Corner O' Fast Food, and the former industrial might of Euclid ave...

Wow. It all makes me very sad.
